Kenya is a year-round safari destination.

However, the best wildlife viewing is during the dry season (June to October), and the Great Wildebeest Migration in the Maasai Mara usually peaks between July and September.

We recommend lightweight clothing in neutral colors, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, a camera, binoculars, and any personal medication.

Nights and early mornings can be chilly, so pack a warm layer as well.
